Past Indefinite Tense Passive voice
Third form of verb is always used in passive voice. In an active voice the does is subject but in passive voice the doer is object. In passive voice object of the sentence treats as subject.
Affirmative Sentences
Object + was/were + v3 + by + subject + ow. ( if other words exist )
Active voice - Ram read a book yesterday.
Passive voice - A book was read by Ram yesterday.
Active voice - Sita wrote a letter.
Passive voice - A letter was written by Sita.
Active voice - They ate two mangoes.
Passive voice - Two mangoes were eaten by them.
Negative Sentences
Object + was/were + not + v3 + by + subject + ow. ( if other words exist )
Active voice - Ram did not read a book yesterday.
Passive voice - A book was not read by Ram yesterday.
Active voice - Sita did not write a letter.
Passive voice - A letter was not written by Sita.
Active voice - They did not eat two mangoes.
Passive voice - Two mangoes were not eaten by them.
Interrogative Sentences
QW + was/were + object + v3 + by + subject + ow? ( if other words exist )
